Montreat Youth Conference is an annual event for high school youth which welcomes nearly 3,500 students over the course of six week-long conferences. Participants engage in reformed worship, small group sessions, and recreational activities built around a yearly theme. 

“Light My Path” was selected as 2025’s theme based on a passage from Psalm 119. In creating a brand identity for this event, I decided to utilize the concept of light and dark, as this audience responds well to literal imagery. However, a warm color palette was selected to avoid images that felt too bleak. Thematically, illustrated assets mimic the appearance of paper cutouts, allowing for opportunities to play with irregular shapes and drop shadows.
